Exploring My Creative Journey with Art Seen
It’s always exciting to see my work featured in print, and Art Seen magazine has done an incredible job capturing the heart of my creative process. The latest issue includes a deep dive into my practice, spanning my time in London, Paris, and California, and how each place influences the stories I tell through cyanotypes.
The article, Chloe McCarrick: Crafting Cyanotypes Across Continents, highlights my approach to working with light, the importance of historical research in my art, and the narratives of remarkable women that shape each piece. It also explores the behind-the-scenes realities of life as a working artist, from managing international collectors to preparing work for exhibitions and even a forthcoming feature in a Netflix show.
"Each woman’s story holds its own power, and I hope it leaves an inspiring impact on those who view my work."
You can download my full feature for free here, and if you’re interested in discovering more incredible artists, I highly recommend picking up a copy of the full issue from Art Seen.
